I picked up a transmission that has the following info: On the shifter body - 472941 and on the trans body - 473208 The only other numbers I've found are C 63. Can anyone tell me what year or vehicle?

The case cast number is for Part number 473208 which fits a 33-35 CC,DC,EC which is the standard. From the C63 I would guess its March 6 of 33. Could not find the shifter body number.

Thanks for the info and your help. I just bought a bunch of parts from a guy for 32 - 36 Chevys and this was part of the lot. Any idea what it's worth (I have a 32)?

I'm going thru the boxes now.
So far, Clutch piolet bearing NOS,Clutch throw-out plate w/springs NORS, 2 shocks (used), speedometer, oil gage, trans gasket set NORS, oil pan gasket set NORS (3), and 2 axles. There are alot of other parts including a head and other parts but I haven't gotten to them yet.
