I need a visual for how the inner and outer rocker panels are attached to the body/floor. There is nothing left of the inner panel and the outer panel is a poor homemade attempt at best. Thanks.

You may be able to obtain the diagram you need by contacting EMS panel company in Cleveland, Ohio.

Thanks. I have been in touch with EMS several times. I just wish they had a retail shop so I could go there and see in person what I am buying. They are within 10 miles of me, but they still have to ship eveything.

If I remember my Cleveland days, I thought they were on East 140th. Trying to think who owned the panel company before EMS.

They have to have an office at their facility, have to believe they have illustrations to work from, for the products they produce.

Good fitting items.

Best of luck.

Have you checked out the photos posted by Brewster in this forum? There are some good photos of the outer rocker and the inner can be partially seen with the body on the rotisserie. You might send him a PM to see if he can get some other photos for you. I've also just had mine replaced , but not as neat and professional a job as his.

Andy, Ken's carpeting was installed already. Steve, all of the rocker panel shots that Brewster has were posted. I can't see what I need to see from them. He said he would get back to me when he can. Thanks for the suggestions.

My car is about an hour and a half away from me right now… I'll get some pics next time I'm down there. I was surprised when me EMS parts came that they had no instructions or diagrams. I guess they assume that you're working off of the original stuff, and don't take into account previous work or total rust out!

Those accustomed to the finest...find it in Chevrolet.

Like the GM shop manual, I believe suppliers of body parts believe the installer is a journeyman mechanic or bodyman.

Thanks for the great photos. I will copy them and give them to my body guy. You have a lot more original metal left than my car does.
