Check with Chev's of the 40s for an installation sheet.

Basically, you need the rubber piece for the joint at the back of the fender where it joins the door. It will be necessary to cut the present molding at that joint. All the hardware necessary to mount the scraper will be necessary to mount the moldings.

Try these guys. They may have the answer. The two of them know a great amount about 1940's Chevy's & accessories, especially 41's.

To answer your question, purchase item ACC141 Footscraper Installation Instructions for the 1941, from Chev's of the 40s.

chevsofthe40's has Foot Scrapers & a "kit" for foot scraper installation, but it is NOT the original style, size, fasteners or details of an OEM.

Good luck.

It helps if you understand the question and then the answer. The question was what HARDWARE is used to mount the scrapers. The answer is in the installation instructions sold by Chev's of the 40s.

This question has nothing to do with a mounting kit or the scrapers.

Ahhh, a critique...always warms my heart and make me realize who I'm dealing with bigl But I knew the question and I know the answer. Took to read-en a long, long time ago.

As per the question about "instructions" from COT40's, there's a So Cal web site dedicated to vintage Chevy's that also has instruction sheets for many Chev/GM accessory installations. Can't quiet remember the name but I think it's a "low- rider site" {Bombs?}. Google it and you should be able find it. The site has MANY instruction sheets, FREE!!

Good Luck.
