I had hoped to see my propane cost per gallon go down, as the gasoline has. Propane has dipped a bit here, but I'm still at 2.29 per gallon.

I think my supplier is hanging tough, not wanting to share with his lower pricing.

I think it depends on the local suppliers inventory turnover. The last few years many have loaded up prior to the heating season and have raked in extra profits when the price rose. I know of one supplier who put in 5 million gallon storage tanks. Some of those that did so this past season are wishing they hadn't just like the home owners who prepaid for their fuel. Number two fuel oil here was about $3.50 before October and now it's closer to $2.50.

Regular gasoline around here is $ 1.80, Diesel $ 2.59 and just paid $ 2.15 for propane. Houston is as low as $ 1.47 for regular.

I am in Hendersonville today/tonight.
In Ellijay Ga, only 175 miles south, the gas was $1.77 Tuesday, 1/21.
Today, in Hendersonville, the gas is $2.19 .... forty two cents higher ! WOW bonk

Fayetteville, NC is still above two bucks. I bought some with the Wall-mart card and its 3 cents discount at 2.09 today.

The long and short of it is that service (?) stations are ripping people off and the ones right here are doing a better job of it than the others throughout the country. Yep!

BTW: Again. You are not saving a dang thing. The price is what it is. If you could get it for a price below the market then that would be a savings to you. Also, if you changed to a vehicle that got better milage, that too, would be a savings to you. Bit not the price of gasoline at the pumps. That is no savings. That is simply the price I don't care how the president spins it. It just ain't so.

Charlie,
Drove down from NY to Florida last weekend and the lowest price on the I-95 corridor was in NC. I saw $1.87 somewhere near Dunn NC on 1/17/15. In Ocala we are at $2.05, and I paid $2.99 for diesel this morning

John,

Hershey: I renewed this year via the internet. Still waiting for my card so I can send in the pre-regerstration.

Gasoline: The low price on I-95 would have been Benson. South Carolina or Georgia should have been the lowest overall.

Best,

I was looking for diesel, I just happened to notice the sign $1.87. I mailed my check for Hershey before I left last week

I saw the non-e fuel in Ocala at $2.65 yesterday, to bad can't get it in NYS. My wife said she filled up yesterday before the snow and paid $2.37 on Long Island.

I can't remember the last time I filled the tank on my Silverado but I noticed today that some local stations are advertising $1.999 per gallon . Might just have to fill up.

A certain indication that spring is coming .....up goes the price of gas. dance
