On my stock '37 216 engine, the pulley on the water pump wobbles about 1/4 inch. The shaft appears to be straight. Does anyone know what could cause this and if it can be corrected? How is the pulley attached to the shaft? Is the pulley available by itself. How do you remove the pulley? I know you guys will have the answers to my questions. Also, would appreciate any suggestions.
thank you

There was a special puller used to press off the pulley without damaging/bending it.
I suspect the pulley is bent. If it were mine I would try bending it back into place by prying behind the pulley at the low spot. Either do on the engine with the fan attached or if you do it with the fan removed put the bolts back in or the pulley could come apart as it is spot welded together and the welds can break
If it is not a genuine Chevrolet water pump there may be other problems.
