I was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Went out in the cold and snow to measure the stripes. The inner hub stripe on mine is almost 1/4" wide. The rim stripe is about 3/32". I have the accessory discs on my car so measured the spare wheel.

Yes, my stripes measure close to 1/4" near the hub cap and 1/8" at the valve stem. Same as yours.

Well I guess it would be easier to widen someday? Then make it thinner. Someday!

Looking at the job your pinstriper performed, I would not touch the stripes. They do look great, am very curious as to how he did such a PRO job.

No, I wouldn't touch it either. Also I would not tell any one and see if it is noticed. I would bet very few will will be aware .
