Good Morning from South Dakota!

I took possession of the new-to-me '67 Camaro almost two weeks ago. After spending over a week with my trusted mechanic, Arneson's in Markesan, Wisconsin, finally finished the repairs late Tuesday night just in time to start the 1900 mile road trip home.

First 500 miles were smooth, she hums at 75 mph. The 230 cid 6 cylinder will be challenged in the mountains. The high speed idle seems to be stuck on, but not doing much idling.

found a '67 Camaro in McDonalds parking lot in Sparta, WI. Awesome.

Mark

Mixup, Mike Bergman is mechanic, Arneson is autobody. Both excellent. Not that anyone on the thread would know.

Best wishes for a safe journey home in your new (vintage) Chevrolet! Love to hear that your Camaro is a six and still original!

Oops, alternator fried in Columbus, MT. Parts store had a remanufactured alternator on the shelf. I tell you, I'm really loving a car with available parts!
