I have a question on a 1940 Special Deluxe Coupe upper grill emblem. Was the emblem made of die cast material & then chrome plated or was it made of polished Stainless Steel.

Thank You

I BELIEVE that it was cast.If cast it will have numbers cast into the back of it.

Sparky are you talking about the chevrolet emblem on the top of the grill or the emblem on the hood, the grill chevrolet emblem was made of stainless steel , and the one on the hood was cast
