Hello, I had a odd thing happen this morning. Went to get in my 85 vette and when I opened the door an alarm went off? First I did not know I had one and second did not know how to turn it off. Disconnected the battery which worked. My car has no key fob so what is going on here ??? Thanks foe any input on this.

Do you have the owners maunal, it should tell how to set it and turn it off. When we had the 87 Vette, if I remember right you armed it by locking the door with the key and if it was set off, starting the engine would turn it off.
