The 1939 Chevrolet new car brochure calls out a 4 Door Sport Sedan AND a Four Door Sedan,I am trying to determine the difference. Can anyone shed some light on this?

There were only 68 Master Deluxe sedans made in 1939.....thats the model with the exposed spare tire on the back. I saw only one and it was a well restored car and I believe the owner was from Penn. I think he sold the car years back. He was older than me so probably isn't around any longer.

If you go to the Google page and click on " Images" at the top ...then type in ....1939 master deluxe sedan.....a lot of pictures come up. row 7 from the BOTTOM will show one example of the `39 with a tire on the back.....I guess that is one like Gene was talking about...
