Thanks Sid, that's one of the things I farmed out on the woodie restoration. Craig Clemens did that - he was the preeminent woodgrainer and really had the '41 dash nailed. He's gone now, his last '41 dash, a Fleetline was purchased by a Nor-Cal Reigon member after his passing.

I have a ceramic coil on my 1941 pickup. Putting a female end on the wire works electrically, but there is nothing for the boot to hold onto, so the wire falls off at the most inappropriate times. When I got the truck many years ago it had a larger boot that covered most, or all, of the bottom of the coil and physically held the wire in place. Does anyone make a coil wire with the larger boot as original? Thanks for any updates.
