America's oldest Chevrolet Dealership, Colussy motors in Bridgeville PA. Opened in 1918, it is still in the Colussy family. Check out the Youtube Chevrolet Spot as well...
It's a multi part series, so you'll have to click on the following bits down the right side of the youtube page.

We have an older Chevrolet dealer here in the Milwaukee area. Holz Motors in the suburb of Hales Corners has been a Chevrolet dealer since 1915. The dealership was started in 1915 By the father of the present owner so it has been in one family all those years. It is one of the Chevrolet dealerships featured in the book - Chevrolet Dealership History. I will be calling on the mechanics tomorrow - one of my best tool acounts. It is also the largest "single store" Chevrolet dealer in Wisconsin.
When began in 1914 they did not handle the Chevrolet car. That happened in 1915. The 4th of July Holz car show is also one of the largest "free" cars shows in the state with over 1500 cas on display.
I work (sell tools) two mornings a week. Visit a Buick/GMC, a Chevrolet and a Ford dealership plus several independent shops. Keeps me up-to-date with the "modern" cars and I have worked with mechanics for over 60 years so it is part of my life. Also keeps me young.
Just for Gene! Holz Motors, Milwaukee WI. I don't trust that the pictures match the info, seeing as the poster could not even come close to telling the years... Maybe Gene could add some remarks as well... First pic is listed as "about 1917". Clearly that's a '29 parked out front!
Second pic has 1936 written on it, but hey... there's a '49-'50 Fleetline and sedan in the picture! The building looks quite different, and I'm not 100% sure it's even Holz's!
Third pic is 1962... A new building across the street...

For the first picture. The buildings on the right are still there . the building towards the front has been remodeled and is still a bar and resturant. Due to planned street widing that build either will be moved to removed. Not sure about the building on the left. Chevrolet sign looks "retouched" and Mr. Holz couldn't give me a positive answer when I questioned him about the original building. Picture #2 wwas the next bilding. I would suspect it was built in 1936. Was torn down in 1961 and in full use til that time. The used car lot is in front of the present building which is now set back farther. #3 is the new building when it was "opened" in late 1961. My father sold cars there from 1961 til the mid 1970's. I have been calling on the mechanics since 1977. Feel like an employee. The new building was expanded in about 1988. The building was just expanded againg and redone to Chevrolet's corprate look. The above pictures as well as some others are on display in the dealership. The street you are looking down (to the west) in the first picture is called Janesville Road and at one time wae the main road to Janesville.
Interesting picture of a 1954 Chevrolet 150 sedan outside of Maple Leaf Stadium, Toronto. The picture was taken in 1956. The stadium was home to our minor League Baseball team, not to be confused with Maple Leaf Gardens, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Team. Personally, I also find this photo interesting, as the Loblaws sign in the background is the parent company of the grocery store that I have worked at for the past 23 years.

The Wawona Tunnel Tree stood in Yosemite Park for 2300 years. In 1881 two men were paid $75 to cut a tunnel through it, enlarging an existing fire scar. The tree fell under the weight of snow in 1969, and is now known as the Fallen Tunnel Tree. 1931 Chevrolet
1941 Chevrolet
1954 Chevrolet
1957 Chevrolet... likely a park rental.

I recall driving though "Wawona" back in the late '60's in a friends '56 Chevy Wagon on a camping trip...The tree fell during a winter storm...No one knew of her fate 'till that next spring, it made the headlines here in Californee...
