Another standard roadster is for sale on E-bay.

Seller says it was restored by Wayne Taylor, if this was his car I saw it at Roseberg's Graffiti Week in 1994. Wonder how it's held up?

On one of our Junkyard Dog adventures to the Salem, Oregon area back in the late 1980's, I was fortunate enough to drive Wayne Taylor's 1933 roadster that is featured on the eBay auction posted by 41carguy above. Wayne had just purchased the car and the roadster was painted yellow and it was in unrestored condition.

I can remember when I drove the car that I had a passenger sitting next to me, two dudes in the rumble seat, one guy riding on the passenger side running board and Wayne riding on the driver's side running board. I drove the car down an old dirt road behind Wayne's house and then proceeded to drive all over the cow pasture at the end of the road with everyone hanging on for dear life. That car was like a jeep and it would go anywhere! What fun we had! All of the guys had a great time. We all begged Wayne not to restore the car because it was too much fun to drive the roadster the way it was. But...Waynard did restore the car and that was the last time the roadster was driven around in an open field with six guys on board!

Wayne Taylor passed away unexpectedly back in 2002 at the age of 62.

I rode in Wayne's roadster also, but it was a 1934 when I rode in it.

Thanks Mike, you are correct. It was a senior moment. Happens often to many of us seniors....including Raymondo who is even more senior than I am.

ITS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK. The same 33 roadster is back obn ebay but seller this time decided to jump the opening bid to $45.500 from $42/495 G , and the BUY IT NOW has jumped from $49.500 toooooooo $54.900.

If car did not sell at $49.500 what makes this seller think its going to sell for $54 ????? weird.
