Hey everyone! I was getting bored with my 1969 Chevelle Malibu and found someone wanting to trade me straight up with a 1940 Chevy Master 85. The Master is way more restored than my Chevelle with all new glass, rubber, chrome, etc. Original 216 engine, points, 6volt, generator. The guy had a lot more invested in the master than I did.

Check out the pictures: 1940 Chevy Master 85

Here is my Chevelle that I traded: 1969 Chevelle Malibu

It has a couple little things that I'll have to check out and will make some follow up posts.

Hello pcm2a, Great looking car! I hope you have many good days of driving a wonderful classic car. Love the Red interior.

In my eyes...you have traded up from the Malibu.

The paint job is from the 80s and while it still looks good it seems like they didn't sand the car at all. I might look into getting a new white paint job with some red highlights.

The owner also gave me a new set of red rims for it to replace the white ones. I think they might look great.
