A special thank you goes out to John and Happy Thompson that put the tour together, and led us in their beautiful '34 coupe. Also along for the ride were The Longmuirs ('35 standard) Hodgin's ('36 Cabriolet) Rozon's & Beaudin, ('53 Bel air) Boyes ('48 Truck) Pettitt ('58 Apache) Gajdacs ('61 Impala) Lampkin ('64 Impala Conv.) and The Worren's in their '79 Impala 2dr. We visited three collections owned by members of another multi-make club in the area. The first stop was a huge collection of model T Fords (at least 12 were on site) as well as a few other off-brands. I didn't get any photos as I was out on the driveway with the convertible up on the ramps, fixing the brake lights! He did have an amazing collection of tin signs and gasoline memorabilia as well. Our second stop was the mother load! A survivor 1932 Landau Phaeton, an under restoration 1941 convertible, and a few wreckers, notably a 1941 ambulance or hearse. The third stop was a collection of high point restored cars, featuring a mint 1957 convertible and hardtop, a Black Widow clone, and a few Camaro's and Corvettes. It was a fun tour, and the perfect end to an amazing weekend! This is going to be a big file... apologies to those on dial up! Hey Charlie!!! Last edited by brewster; 08/19/12 11:25 PM. Also in this room was a perfect factory restored 1932 Ford Phaeton... believed to by the only restored one in Canada.
