I wanted to ask and see if anyone could help me with what this engine is worth. It is a 235 that came in the 1959 chevy truck I bought. The engine is not running but will turn over by hand and by the starter. The casting numbers are below.
Block: 3837012
Heads: 383684

Thank you

My sources indicates block casting # 3837012 to be a 1955-57 261c.i.d. usually mated to head # 3836850

To determine the value, get it running then you and the potential owners can readily figure it out.
