I'm not sure what you're referring to. Could you expand your description? Thanks!

I would assume you mean the lowest of the low...front-fender to the back-fender, 2 inch's wide x 6 feet long...? The right side is commonly used for curb-feeling...?

Ahhh - the rocker mouldings? The title of this thread (Door Panel Moulding) threw me.

Hey guys....

Read the description Bruce gives above, then look at the pictures below. You'll see what he's looking for.

Bruce, I wish I had a few of those for you, but alas, mine are on my Aero (which is 3000 miles away from you......and locked up in my barn). Good luck finding some.

Can you provide the dimensions on the stainless? I parted out some Aerosedans and may have saved some of the stainless. These pieces don't look familiar, but you never know...

OK Bruce, just came back from the barn.......

Here are the dimensions...

44" long x 3/8" wide x 3/16" deep

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that Dale has some squirreled away in his spare parts pile. If you need any close up pictures, I can do that tomorrow.

The bad/sad part is the way they are held on. The strips have a small nail/brad welded on about every 4". They poke through the panel and are bent over. I haven't had the nerve to try and straighten mine enough to install, if I ever get there. Good luck.

Hmmm. Guess I don't know what I have. My stainless mouldings that I thought might be from the inside door panels are only 33 inches long. One pair is 1/2 inch wide and the other pair are only 3/16 inches wide. Any guesses out there? It's been too long since I took them off the car. I had them in the same box as the outside belt mouldings from a '47 Aerosedan I parted out. Oh by the way, those outside belt mouldings are on eBay at the moment if anyone is interested.

With reference to the "brads" that attach the trim strips to the panal. Most of mine were broken off, making attachment impossible. I took some small brads, bent a short "L" on the end for added contact area, and used a low temp silver solder to attach them. It worked fine, with some discoloration on the stainless which buffed out. Fairly easy fix.

Bruce....getting ready for dinner right now. I'll head out to the barn a little later with the camera and get a few shots....close up....especially the ends.

Just for your info Bruce, I posted a want ad on "the other Chevy Forum" (ChevyTalk) looking for these trim pieces. We'll see if anything turns up there.

Be back later....I hope.....because we just got a severe weather warning.....thunderstorms in the area.

Update........

OK Bruce, see if these pictures are helpful. Dark in the barn, had to use flash.

Bruce, hope you had a great 4th. My rebuttal: don't think so, only difference is the length. Pretty sure. [Linked Image from pic50.picturetrail.com] [Linked Image from pic50.picturetrail.com] Remember, their are two four door models.

I have to agree with Russell, Bruce. The sales document you posted is of a Fleetmaster 4 door, not a Fleetline 4 door (note the rear quarter window....the Fleetline doesn't have one like that). And I would assume the panel trim on the Fleetline 4 door would be more in line with the Aero. Anyone have a photo of the interior door panel for a 4 door Fleetline?

Russell, does your 4 door fleetline door panel look like the pictures of my Aero door panels? (except for being shorter?)
