Yep - that looks like it. The one I found was too crispy to do anything with.

I think I would prefer this style, as my "cable" style switch ends up down near the steering box with the cable itself reaching clear up to attach to the bolt in the "linkage" in your photo.

Adjustment of the shifting linkage is ctritical for the above switch to work properly,it will pick up 2nd gear very easily and if there is any play in your shifter the light will no stay on.
It apears that the spring above is quite far out,it is to be 3/4 ",maybe that is the key to make it work?

Chef-chevy, is that the switch you are/were running that you said you had trouble keeping adjusted...? Or was it the cable type as mine...? Kevin

Kevin,the switch above in the picture is the switch I have installed..I know to get it to work properly I will need to disconect the linkage mechanisim and start adjustment all over from step#1,beginning with adjustment of the shift lever etc...etc..
