I have a mid-30's mirror/clock that needs resilver
I was told that it cannot be done and leave the
space for the clock face "open". And that the dots
that mark the 12, 3, 6, and 9 would be eliminated.
I was also told that where the gasket was between the clock and the mirror would prevent the silver
from adhering to the glass.
So what is correct?
Who do you fellows recommend?

Some body left the engine running in their mouth. No truth to what you listed. A resilvering job will leave the precise hole for the clock (providing you give them the instructions.) Truthfully, I can't vouch for the placement of the 3,6,9,12, marks. What mirror has those numbers on the glass? Contact me directly and we will get you fixed up.

Do I understand that you resilver mirrors? Pls
give me a cost estimate. Does your process give
the glass the original grey tint look.
My clock in electric. Rather than having it rebuilt and risking future problems, my thoughts
are to have the mechanism replaced with a quartz
movement. Your thoughts are welcome and appreciated.
