hi there road_fossil,
you say [quote:Very easy to install because they only require about a 1/2" hole in the dash]
If the dia of the glass is about 50mm does the instrument stand proud of the dashboard?
The dials in the picture only show the fronts and not the side view with the depth! regards Peter

Hi there Ray, thank you for the interesting picture. Could you post a side view as well? Road_fossil says it only needs a small hole in the dash to install? How that is possible, I am not sure! regards Peter

The face assembly (hands bezel and crystal) all mount on front of dash. The rest of the clock behind. They screw together using a ~ 1/2" diameter center section on the face assembly.
And yes as roadfossil wrote, I have both '31-'32 and '33 dash clocks for sale.

blueAU--Be sure and install a fuse in the power supply line to your clock. Try a 1 amp fuse first. If it blows then use a 2 amp, but nothing greater. Parts houses don't normally stock 1 amp but they can order some for you.
Contrary to the rumors, I'm making great progress on the bulb. So far I have found 169 things that won't work.---Thomas Edison.

Hi there all, thank you for your explanations and advice. I have never come across that type of attachments for instruments before, that explains it all. Chipper: are your clocks the same as in the pictures posted by antique mechanic?
