I am trying to identify and match the origional two-tone cream white (lower body and roof)/ light blue (upper body) paint combination for my 1961 Chevrolet Apache Series C1434 (78" Fleetside) - Paint Code: T(maybe 7)36J

Can anyone provide some current paint colors that closly match the orgional paint. Also, what would be the correct wheel rim color, I was thinking the cream white but on the front page of the 1961 Chevrolet Trucks Models & Specifications booklet it appears the rims are painted the same as the upper body color.

I have found the following 'Ditzler 1961 Chevrolet' information:

Paint Code - Description / Number
912 - Jewel Blue Poly DDL-12398
915 - Twilight Turquoise Poly DDL-12396

925 - Coronna Cream DDL-81271
935 - Ermine White DDL-8259

Two-Tone Combinations
953 - 8259 and 12396
959 - 8259 and 12398

From the above information, I think I may have the 959 Two-Tone combination constisting of the 935 Ermine White DDL-8259. and 912 Jewel Blue Poly DDL-12398.

None of this jibes with the pickup Paint Code: T (or 7)36J

I alos found in a previous Chevygene post: 1960 Truck Data Book - Dupont air-drying paint: Ivory 93-72961

Does anyone have any other information or a link to where I may find it. Thanks in advance.

I have also found the following Dupont paint numbers for 1961 Chevrolet:

Ivory 93-93774 (526)

Lt Blue 93-78387 (507)(539)

Does anyone know if these are correct for a 1961 Apache C10 pickup and what is the 'correct' color for the wheel rims?
