Did Chevrolet ever make a solid color sport coupe for 1929?

Check out your Duco Color Specifications for 1929-34. It is a common reprint and it shows all of the colors used on each model in 1929. I think that you indicated on this site once that you had a copy. If not, you can purchase the specifications from the Filling Station. You will find the information invaluable.

I have it but was just wondering. I am asking this stuff because I am finally finishing the 29 I have and want to paint it. By the way I have seen some 29's with the roof the body color, green, blue, etc and other with the roof black.
Which is correct or is it a matter of choice?
Thanks again.

Some dudes paint their cars the color or colors that they prefer, so in that case it is a matter of choice. If you prefer your paint combination to be authentic and correct, then check out the Duco Color Specifications that you have to see the exact colors the different models and the various body panels were painted originally.
