Working on a 33 Master 5w coupe that needs both door casing/covers, dovetail wedges, door rubber stops etc. In other words the doors only have the locks in them now.

Picked up the casings shown below. The one on the left has a "one piece aluminum wedge insert", the one on the right would normally have the two plastic type inserts with springs acting as a wedge guide.

My question is which system works better, the one or the two piece?

Also, I can only locate the two piece style via the Filling Station...any other sources out there for the one piece setup

Thanks

The two piece type works better for me but I use rubber blocks behind the two metal parts instead of plastic and springs.

If you have old Chevrolets, other old Chevrolets will find out where you live.

Thanks for the response...does anyone know where the one piece unit can be purchased? Would like to compare prices between both systems.

In the meantime I'll post a wanted ad below.

Thanks
