Mmmm dunno why that same trick didn't work in the member's area.

While the rest of the crew may be in the same predicament, it's almost always the pilot's job to arrive at the crash site first.

Andrew,

You're doing a great job on the car. It looks really nice.

You're wife is beautiful. And, she makes the outfit look marvelous, as well. You should buy her a nice, high quality, diamond.

What did your outfit look like?

Thanks for the photos. They are encouraging to all of us who are in the midst of a restoration or two.

Best wishes,

Hi! Beautiful Tourer's. As Charlie mentioned, your photo's are encouraging! Could you post up some more detailed shots of the inside of the doors and the edges, the door jamb area, hinges, latch jamb and rocker panels? I am just starting on a 29' roadster and it was an old hotrod, crudely channeled and then left to rot. 99% of the hardware is missing and 100% of the wood is gone. Photo's of these area's are hard to obtain and will help me greatly in understanding what is missing and where to start.

Thanks in advance and again, BEAUTIFUL Tourer's.

Joe

Thanks Charlie, the wife was chuffed to get such a compliment and she says a sincere thank you to your good self.

My outfit was actually pretty run of the mill. I have a few pairs of 1920s style spectator shoes that are my usual footwear. So I was wearing these with a pair of pinstriped pants and a period style shirt with braces. I certainly didn't look as flash as the wife did.

Hi Joe, I'b be happy to post some photos of the areas that you need BUT.... I see from your details that you are in the USA. Our tourers had the bodies built locally and so they are not likely to be the same as the ones produced in the USA. I have no clue what the differences are but I know there are some.

If you are sure that you want details from an Australian bodied tourer then I'm happy to help, just let me know.
