The fellow who started this didn't tell us which issue of G and D he recvd.

In that my January issue arrived today in Portland, OR, I presume he meant it was his "January" issue.

Other guys also indicated it was their January G and D that arrived today. I'll bet he meant January.....

Tony, unless someone cares or something in the postal system changes ? Things aren't probably not going to get any better. We should be thankful that anything gets to where it's sent, much less in a reasonable time frame.

Man, that is so true! Case in point: Just received a small, rolled up poster that was in a mailing tube yesterday. It was mailed on December 15th from West Virginia and I received it on December 29th! The old Pony Express from 160 years ago could have gotten the mail here faster!! Also, the package had tracking (talk about something that is a total waste of money....tracking is it!) And when the tracking was checked daily nothing appeared until December 29th saying that the package was delivered that day. No wonder many dudes that receive the G&D have to wait weeks to get their issues. Maybe the post office should sell their jet planes and their semi-trucks and get horses to deliver the mail instead. Our mail delivery would probably be faster!

I have come to the conclusion that the pony express isnt very good at water crossings especially 13000 mile crossing.
I only throw a comment in every now and then to make you US guys feel lucky or priveleged.

Since your membership was recorded 12/7, I would expect you will get a G&D in the next few days. Probably after the postman has a chance to read it as it likely will be the first one he has seen. BTW, I got mine today in balmy SE Texas.

The pony express must be running slow out here in the great plains.

It all depends upon the horse and what food is waiting on the other side.
