Need to replace the weatherstrip on the stainless windshield divider strip. How do you remove the old weatherstrip without damaging the stainless? Is this a "press-fit"?

The stainless is just an outer shield over the rubber center strip. Look at Steele part No.70-0159-51 and you see that the rubber is the shape of the stainless and there are little grooves on each side where the edge of the stainless slide onto the rubber. If the rubber is stuck to the stainless I would use a little heat and chemicals to clean it off.
