VCCA members have access to a list of over 50 Technical Advisors who can help you with your car. It's worth the price of membership! While you can get a lot of information for free in this forum, sometimes the info that you REALLY need is only available from the right person. This is what "The World's Best Chevrolet Club" is all about!
Also, when you do click on it it asks if you want to save a file. Unless I think something is significant, and, I know what it is, I don't save it to my harddrive.

Normally it just plays as soon as you click it. Your browswer or security settings must interrupt the path. You might try a right mouse click and see if it gives you other options.
It's just a wav file.
Sorry, yes, it was subtle... but read the Title of it, then the body. Altogether it was a teaser leading to Dinah, of course. Sort of an "easter egg" in computing lingo.

I just left clicked on it and it asked if I want to save a file. It may be the way my system is set up. I am running Vista and that may be an issue too.
Anyway, this is getting a little off track. All I was trying to do was share some things that I thought others might find interesting.

It is completely independent of the OS whether it plays it or not. Either the web browser is not set to automatically play it or no media player plugin is installed. And, BTW, generally when you view a video or sound file, it is saved in /tmp and deleted automatically later. For instance, when you view a Youtube video, there is a video file stored in /tmp that is deleted when you leave that page.
