Looking for inserts for the wipers on my 1940 chevy. On the arm it says The Anderson Company and rain-master. The wiper blade also says curve flex. Where can i find these?

The 1940 Chevrolet did no have or require flex type wiper blades. In fact the flex blade was not introduced till the cars had cureved windshields (1949 for Chevrolet). The old curve flex blades were made back in the 1950's and I doubt if any fresh rubber inserts are available, I would suggest just gettine new, original, simple type 1940 blades.
Whoops, just looked at your profile. I think you made a typo and meant 1950.

Was trying to remember what I did for my '50....I believe I found a newer insert that had the same cross section and shortened it.

Mr. Dog! A personal note here. Your last post here shows that you are not an Ol' Grizz as you sometimes post here, but an Ol' Softy with many fond memories of your youth, and the intelligence to keep them with you as the years flit by with the keeping of your first car!! My admiration and respect to you sir.
Jim.

Hey Jim! Thanks for the kind words....they are most appreciated from this mangy old mutt! Ya, I have many fond memories of my puppy hood and I think about them often. Many of my memories are still realities since I still own many of the items I had as a puppy. Most of the toys I received for Christmas like my American Flyer train set, my Tonka Road Construction set, my Erector Set and etc., are still here....just like my first car. Heck, I even have my first scooter and my pedal car too! Howard50: Ya, you did great by doubling your money on your first car. Most dudes sold their first cars for less than they paid for them. Sure glad I never sold my first car since we have been together 50 years now. Couldn't think of selling the old girl for any amount of money today.
