I may attend on Saturday July 18. Just not sure yet. I attended their first one 2 years ago. An extremely well organized show with outstanding vehicles in a beautiful venue.
My claim to fame from that show was a photo of the front end of the 48 with my vintage license plate showing up on Hemmings website. Neat.

I'm the 4th photo down.

Saturday's show is a "regular" car show for anyone with a $25 entry fee in their pocket, but many of the "invited" concourse cars are also on display on saturday, so it makes for a good day.

It's about a 50 mile drive for me, so I kinda watch the weather.

Are you planning to attend?

I got an invite to show my truck, but I have some work to do if I am going to make it. I really hope to get it ready to go as it would make a great family vacation to get up to that part of the country. I have a lot of little things that I need to finish up and detail (in addition to fixing a knocking problem that appeared this spring).

I just checked your website, Tim. That truck looks absolutely gorgeous. I hope you can sort out your problems and make the concourse show....I'm sure you will do well...and I'm absolutely positive you will enjoy the Vermont hospitality and Vermont's natural beauty. Keep me posted via this forum, PM or email as to your progress. If you and your truck are going to attend, that's just a little incentive for me to attend on Saturday........my old 48 is NOT concourse quality......

I'd still like to meet you and your truck......and family too. I might be able to help with pointing you in the right direction for tourist attractions, etc.

Good luck...

Thanks for the compliment on the truck. I will certainly keep you informed as to if I will make it. I'm not certain that my truck is "concourse quality" but I thought it would be a lot of fun to just attend.

I hope I can make it!

Tim, beautiful Truck, Congrats.

I've been to Wisconsin several times and you have some beautiful country drives and places. Door County and many other places are always "picture perfect" and always provide form great "photo opts."

Ken aside {he-he} I'm sure you will enjoy the upper East Coast. Perfect scenery, fun VCCA members and Hemmings puts on a nice show.

I'm also sure you will be very impressed with Ken's "non-concourse" 48. bigl Like your Truck, his car is beautiful. As long as we can keep him from backing it into the garage before the big event. haha

Enjoy the ride,
Michael41
