Can anyone help ID this car. I believe it to be a late 20's or so. It was my grandfather's car that he sold around 1973 in South Bend,IN. There is some confusion in my family as to what year it is.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I did get to drive it once as we dug it out of the barn and prepped it for it's sale. (sure wish I could have gotten it)
thanks in advance, Bill

Based on the shell it is a 1925-26. Based on the tie bar and headlight mounting it is a 1926.

thanks ray and bill. For some reason I remember it being called
a 27 but thanks for clearing this up.I believe my brother inlaw
said it sold for $1500.00. at that time I supposed that was
good $$$. The interior leather was shot and it needed a new top
but the paint was not too bad. Also had the side windows in a
pocket behind the front seatback. Gramp only drove on holidays
when it was looking better. It was a birthday present from his
brother and he got it for $300.00. Ya don't see deals like that anymore. When we got it out all we did was charge the battery, cleaned out the gas and she fired right up. I hope
the guy that bought it didn't rod it out.
thanks again, bill
ps why did my original posting get blocked out by the
right hand side bar (spark gap etc.?)
