OP Susie33 Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 54 California	A year ago I replaced the neutral safety switch on my 1950 Chevy with a new one. It worked fine. However the other day I noted it would again start in any gear. Is it normal for them to go out that fast? Is there a way to take it out, reset it and reinstall it or do I have to get another one? Thanks

Chev Nut ChatMaster - 25,000 Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 30,701 Likes: 141 West Allis,Wi.	That switch on a 6 volt car almost never required replacing. Has your car been converted to 12 volts? Are you sure its the switch? could be in the wiring. Gene Schneider
