I just installed the steering wheel and horn ring on my 41 town sedan and I cleaned up the stainless steel steering wheel center to repaint. my question is what was the technique they used to paint these and have them look good as I have different ideas to do this and to redo the trim { rose }around the gauges, I painted the red stripes on the side trims and they look good but not like the original job wink

The "factory" used a template or mask and spray painted the parts.
