HELLO,
HAS ANYONE FOUND A GOOD SOURCE FOR THE FACTORY RUBBER STYLE TAN FRONT AND REAR TRUNK MATS? LIKE THE ONES PRODUCED YEARS AGO BY CHAROB ENT.OF CALIF. I AM WORKING ON A 41 4DR FLEETLINE AND NEED A FRONT AND REAR TRUNK? WOULD CONSIDER A VERY GOOD OR NICE USED ONE AS WELL, ALSO A EXCELLENT SPEEDOMETER' WITH A NICE CLEAN FACE. ANY HELP WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED.
THANKS
MIKE

I am confused by your reference to "front and rear trunk mats"....The front floor mat is brown rubber with a carpet insert on each side. I know of no replacement made at this time. The rear floor was carpet. Hampton Coach has a carpet available. The trunk had a rubber mat (tan) ...there again I see nothing offered.

Yes Gene
You are right I meant to say the front floor mat and then the rear trunk mat. My mistake in the description.

When I restored my '41 Coupe I ordered a complete upholstry kit from Hampton Coach. I don't remember if the front mat (taupe color) was part of the kit or separate. The mat fit great and looks real good. Like Gene said it is rubber with carpet inserts on both sides. The rear seat floor carpet is just that. Carpet. I went to a local upholstry shop and picked out a piece of carpet of the right color. Cut and installed. Looks great. I believe the complete upholstry kit from Hampton Coach is the best way to go . It is easy to install and looks original. JIM
