The neighbor's 2 door 41 Master deluxe is missing the door check links. This has damaged his fenders and doors. Chevy of the 40's shows a rectangular check link that is screwed on instead of the traditional metal strap that retracks into the front door. Has anyone used the rectangular check links, and where do you put them? Behind the door hinge??? Does anyone know of a source for these links?
