While working on the wiring on my 34 1/2 ton , I found out that the head lite bulbs can go in two ways. If you end up with one high and one low it looks like you turn one bulb 180 ! Is this correct? Was there any light in the dash to tell you when the high beams were on ? Thanks.

Easy Money I am not sure when the high beam indicator light was introduced but they generally consisted of a small red light in the top of the speedo and some were labelled as well. Tony

The dash high beam indicator light was an accessory for 1935. The 1939 car and 1940 truck was the first to have it as standard equipment. I wouls think that the pins on the side of the bulb connector would be offset so the bulb could be installed one way only.
