MY '32'S REARVIEW MIROR HAS A CLEAR ROUND AREA (ABOUT THE SIZE OF A HALF-DOLLAR) ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, WAS THERE SOMETHING PUT THERE IN '32 BY CHEVROLET OR WAS THIS AN AFTERMARKET ADD-ON MAYBE?
P.S. WHO RESTORES MIRORS? THANKS, GATOR

Gator: The 1932 accessory rear view clock mirror had a clear round area on the right-hand side of the mirror, however it was about an inch and a half in diameter, and it wasn't as small as you describe.

I SHOULD HAVE SAID "SILVER DOLLAR" INSTEAD OF HALF-DOLLAR. :)

The mirror clock is indeed a windup. The dash clock in is electric, no winding necessary. They run a looooong time before the battery is dead!!! :p
