The rear parcel shelf sheet metal in the 1965 Impala 4-door hardtop has a cutout for a parcel shelf speaker (as opposed to the one molded into the rear seat back). I can find the speaker easily enough, but I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of the speaker grille and/or bezel. And does anyone have a source for the grille/bezel? Are they being reproduced? Is there a part number? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide on this.

My copy of the "1965 custom feature Accessories" shows a rear window defroster as being fitted to the pacel shelf on the drivers side (left), could this be the sheetmetal cutout you are refering to?? .

Just found another part on rear seat speakers. It shows convertible and sport coupe with the in-seat style, and also shows sedans as having an oval shaped black paint grille. does show mounted but does appear to be flat laying

Thanks, Jack! We're off and running. We found the manual online on the tocmp website.

http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/Chev/1965/CustomFeatureAccsy/pages/Chevy%20custom%20acc%20p7_jpg.htm

Now we know what it looks like and can try to find one. I'll post an item on the parts wanted forum.

Thanks for your help.

All the Best,
