Hi, Needing to rebuild or replace my fuel pump for my 1933 1.5 ton truck. Currently it has it's original stock manual fuel pump. Thinking an electronic would ease a lot of worries – any suggestions on where to go or what to get?

Thanks for the help.

No need for an electric fuel pump. Your original will work fine and for a long time if it is rebuilt using a diaphragm that is impervious to alcohol.
Bob Marx at Marxparts in Wisconsin will rebuild your pump or perhaps sell you a kit so you can do it yourself.
All my old Chevys are running on mechanical pumps.

Yes, my '33, '37, and '48 are all running on original type mechanical pumps with no problems if they are in good shape. I started them all up last week after setting since November with out priming them, just choked them, pumped the foot feed and hit the starter. talk parking

Thank you both Mike and Ed. I do believe I just need a rebuild, possibly only a new diaphragm after looking closer at it.

Mike, I took a look at Marx Parts, looks like a kit is available. I appreciate the help.
