I'm kind of new here so I spose I really aughta keep my yap shut, but, somebody needs to say it, might as well be me. I'm not sure where to put this subject so I though I'd just say it here since this is where I spend 99% of my time.
One of the things I find very annoying on the T&V lately are the pop up ads and other little do-dads that they are cluttering up the screen with and pulling your attention away from the subject at hand. I have noticed that with the bad weather a lot of this has settled into this site also lately. Between the snow flakes and flashing sparks every time I move the curser to a subject, now I'm seeing bow ties floating past what I'm trying to read. I don't know about the rest of you old dudes, but I find it quite distracting. To the web master, I might just say, just because it’s there you don't have to use it, do you?
As for the color, on one site I went to for about 10 seconds, the guru thought it would be cool to use a black back ground with blue letters, again maybe it’s just me, but that got my attentions for all of that 10 seconds and the eye strain got so bad I had to leave!

Actually, you should have posted the above in the "Chat Suggestions, Comments or Issues" forum instead. I believe that the snowflakes, the various colors and the falling bow ties were only put on Chevy Chatter II for Christmas by the administrator. However, I am kind of enjoying the green background with the white text and I really like the "sparkles". :) :cool2:

 I think the very festive nature of the chat site has been great! Even though I am here almost every day, it seems as though I get a new "surprise" each time I am here. It has been fun and entertaining - I will hate to see it go!!! Beamer

I love Christmas and all the graphics celebrations Bill has given us. WOW............what happens on New Year's Eve?????  And..... :grin:I can hardly wait until July 4th.....KA.....BOOM!!! :o :grin:

I think the snow-guy in the page header gave Mrs. SnowLady just what she wanted for Christmas. Hopefully all of you fared as well!! Not to get off track, but I've re-coded the Chev Bowtie with Dinah on the "click side"... ha ha... please see if it works better now. I'll now remove "See the USA song" from the https://vccachat.org page... It will only appear under the bowtie.
