If "Louis C." (one period) is the old Gator, then who is "Louis C.." (two periods)?

Seems like "Louis C." (one period) should have stayed the old Gator and then we probably wouldn't have this confusion as to who "Louis C." (one period) and "Louis C.." (two periods) are. Holy Cow!

MM, how about from NO periods? He!He!

Kinda hard to believe this all started with a mouse going under a spare tire.

This should have been a one liner:

Or how about:

"Nevah before, in the history of car care, have so many said so much about so little."

So maybe we aren't talking about a moth ball or two. Apparently we're talking about a masquerade ball.

My guess is Louie/Gator is responsible for all this.....

At least it appears he always starts it and then leaves it for someone else to finish.

Bill.

It is well over 100 here in Montrose, CO and I'm looking for a cool place to park and cool off.

Had an excellent tour this morning before it got too hot.

Another fun tour today to the "Million Dollar Ranch" for pictures and then on to Ouray CO for more fun and games. Great town, however when I returned to my car (33 Eagle Coupe) I was greeted with a flat tire. Had more spectators than workers in replacing it with one of the dual side mount spares.

Big picnic in the RV Park tonight. Gotta go as I am hungry.

Hey Ray,

What's with you and flat tires? I was going to have you test drive my 33 on the last Three Main Bearing Tour, but didn't want my ancient tires to go flat. ;-)

Hi Ray

I don't want to spoil your party, but I opened a thread named "Live, from Grand Junction..."

How'bout posting your updates there instead of in this pest control deal. This way folks checking in can find it right away.

Have a great time!

A few more thoughts on the mouse issue--not that you probably need them. The danger of any poison is that if you have pets, they will find the toxin first. You can probably figure out how I know that. Plus, there's always the fear that the pets might find them and eat a poisoned carcass and die. I'm battling rats in a storage shed and using traps because of the pet issue. Rats are amazingly light-footed, it appears. As to mothballs, it seems that unwanted side effect of them is the smell. I read a humorous article about a fellow some years ago who bought a late 40's Cadillac and then drove it cross country. It seems the previous owner was paranoid about moths and kept it stocked with mothballs. The smell was overpowering. As the guy's luck would have it, it rained most of the trip and he had to keep the windows closed. He cried all the way home. Oh, yeah and there are worse things to have in your truck than a mouse. After weeks of trying to kill the horrid odor in my teenager's Taurus using every trick in the known world, a discovered a month's-old tv dinner of barbecue and beans. No wonder the clearcoat's coming off the car!

At 1 dealership I worked at 1 car had a persistant rattle that turned out to be an empty coke bottle in both sill rails. Took some finding.
