Lost me with the bobbing heads John, & we speak the same language...But here goes..    How to explain UK humour? It's a standard joke over here to beware of Do It Yourself repaired or built items. Repaired with no skill, wrong parts & will fall apart at the earliest. So if Wdoftexas knows which cars are self repaired he can avoid them. Ok! I know we most likely do a better job than some professionals. But Honest it was a joke, sort of lost it's humour in the explanation! If it ever was "Humour" I'll stick to questions!

Humour, or even humor is something that has to be aquired around here,Kemo Sabbee! it isn't spontaneously generated like 6 volts in the charging system, old boy!...... The bobbing head referred to is the little Graemlin ( ) actually he is dancing! I was just joshing about W.D.'s motive for the query, I really have not a clue what he is doing! Is that easy enough to understand? With the exception of JYD,of course, he is really not into understanding.

I 'got' and liked Kipper's reply about avoiding buying the cars worked on "by us" etc.
Nonetheless, I think I'll wait and see if Warren sees my question a few posts back and see what he has to say.....

I expressed in an earlier post that I didn't understand the bobbing heads either - that was my humor!
I'm married to a girl of British stock and she says she sees no humor in me at all - and that is her humor - I think????

Those rambling type of postings are probably not understood by anyone on this site....except for Macky Wacky himself. And, I'll bet from time to time he even has problems understanding what he is saying. ha ha ! :confused: :confused: If the dog does start to understand what Macky Wacky is saying in the future.....then he will be a prime candidate for the local dog pound!

Hello Gator,
My grandaughter will soon be graduating from VANDERBILT with honors, "it appears".
She is a real brain and of course, I love her!
The family was having a really heavy conversation and she chimed in with her comment. " I remarked,". "When I want your opinion, I'll give one", boy did she get mad!
I still get S - - - over that.
So my wife laughs at me! So what?
