Just ran across this item on eBay. Obviously someone spent time making this "rare" item. Oil can The problem is someone will believe that it is a real McCoy and bid on it. I have also seen an open end wrench with a bow-tie emblem on it. It is a very rare one-of-a-kind. The guy who sold it told us how he made it after a friend bought it. Even though asked, he would not tell until it was paid for. It has proved to be a bargain if you count the number of times people have asked about it. Sure can get a conversation started.

Chipper, This brings to mind the "real" 1934 tool box with bow-tie that was at Petit Jean swap meet a few years ago. I passed on it two years in a row. I still don't know if it was "real" or "bogus".

Looks like one for a sewing machine of the 30s and someone stuck a Chevrolet enamel pin on it, probably with epoxy.
