A couple of weeks ago I sent an inquiry re matching the color of a '40 CA License Plate. I found what I believe is a perfect match. Try X-O Rust Enamel (Spray Can) #XO-38 "Caution Yellow".
Will certainly match the '40 CA Plate and maybe others of similar vintage. Hope someone can use this info.
