I was pointed over here from another forum. I am looking for someone who may have worked at Delco building car radios back before 1976. I am trying to find pictures or interesting stories from working there such as why something on the radios turned out the way it did or why something changed. Can Anyone help? There is really not much info out there from the assembly line at Delco Radio.

Thanks

Can't help you on the factory end. All my experience was in a small repair shop that had the contract with the local Chevrolet agency. I came on board at about the time Chevrolet was making the Chevrolet agencies responsible for the installation of accessory radios and associated repair. This was in 1947. Over the years I have collected almost all of the equipment and publications that were a part of the contract. Most of it has been posted on this forum in pictures.
