Was there a "correct" way to mount the optional Red Reflex safety reflector? My 39 accessories installation book just mentions installing it off the left license plate mounting screw. However, do they mean top or bottom. Also, the tab behind the license plate & bracket or in front? If I put this huge reflector off the bottom screw with the tab behind the bracket, then the edge of the reflector touches the truck lid. That'll be a chip after the first bump in the road.

Anyway, just curious. Right now I've mounted it off the top left screw hole behind my license plate. Thanks.

There is really no correct way -as per factory- to mount the reflector. It was offered over many years and could be attached any which way the owner liked.
