Im looking for the tool that you would use to grease the rear leaf springs with. Does anyone know where I could get this tool from or another method that works if you do not have this tool.

Thank you

Sparky

If you are talking about the C-clamp tool which has a needle shaped end to enter in the hole in the spring wrapping I purchased one about a year ago at a swap meet, it was like new. I had found many of them before but the pointed tip was always broken.

This has been discussed several times before.Search way back in the 1937-42 and 1946-48 threads. Both my alternate method and pictures of the Kent Moore as well as after market greasers were shown.

Hello Sparky: I have one of the "C" clamp grease tools that you can borrow for free. I would be willing to loan it out, as long as a hefty refundable deposit was sent to me as collateral. Note. I do not take dogs or cats as collateral.
FYI. I loaned out a Kent Moore original 1935/1936 oil pan nozzle alignment gauge and I finally got it back more than 1 year later. I guess that the deposit that I required on the alignment gauge wasn't high enough to encourage the guy to send the item back any sooner.

I can understand you not taking any cats, but wadda mean that ya don't take dogs as collateral? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! mad mad mad mad mad

The collateral thing is a good idea. I have several friends that loaned out their tools and never got them back. :(

There is a major difference between dogs and "junkyard dogs". The two catagories are not even in the same league.
