Hello everyone, I'm new to the board and have a question on a 55 1st series 6400 truck that I have just purchased.
The truck had a 261 engine which the previous owner replaced with a 58 261. He moved the radiator down and forward to accomadate the long shaft water pump on the 58 engine. I would like to move the radiator back to the proper position. Is it possible to mount a short shaft pump on this block and if so what year pump would match the 58 block bolt pattern and where could I find one? I have had no luck at local parts stores. If anyone has solutions or ideas I would greatly appreciate any and all help. thanks

I believe places like Chevy Duty have the water pump you need.
