It there anyone in the Orange County, Ca. area who relines and installs brakes for a 28 firetruck?

Hi Dateshake,
The only company that I am familiar with that stocks and installs the woven style brake lining is Valley Friction
2662 E. Church Ave.
Fresno, CA 93700

I have heard there is a company of the same name in the San Fernando Valley but I have no address.

Also Vintage Auto Parts Inc. ( www.vapinc.com ) sells some woven lining but you would need to find a local shop to install it.

One of the best I have come across is D.V.Aldous & Co. Ltd. at 3505 Fraser St. at 19th Ave, in Vancouver BC (604)876-2226. These people have the the proper lining and rivets for any car or any thing and will install them at a reasonable price. The owner is Dora Aldous who is 80 years old and works 6 days a week in the business her husband and her started in 1938.
