Hello folks
In the quest for a 37 - 42 coupe, I've come across a few 1937 2-door coupes - no back seat, raised portion of the rear floor pan. I'm trying to determine if these cars are a good fit for someone my height - I'm 6' 1" tall, 32" inseam, 24" arm length (shoulder to palm) and 180lbs. The one car I liked, the current driver is 5' 10 and the guy I spoke with is 6ft - he said it was ok, closer than he'd normally sit - but - much of this depends on the seat used and individual preference, etc - so what I am really looking for is if there are any experiences that you can share that might start to build a consensus on whether or not the 1937 coupe can be comfortable for me. For example, if you are 5'10 and find it a bit tight - that tells me something, or if you are 6' 10 and fit fine with XYZ seat - etc.
Also - I am sure there will be folks that recommend I go sit in them and that answers the question, but these cars are all over the country and I can't go visit them - I've bought remotely a dozen or more times - so I'm comfortable with how it works - its just that in this particular case, there may not be a good way to relocate the seat due to the raised floor, if I encounter a fitment issue.
Thanks,
Allan
