For the last few months I have been watching a 65 Chevelle SS L79 in Mist Blue for sale on ebay and at Classic Car Studios. The car is a body off restoration and looks very nice from the pictures. They have been asking $80,000. and accepting offers. Apparently this is a consignment car because the car is not at the dealers location. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this car. It comes with some documentation that verifies it as an original L79. If you know anything about this car I would love to hear it.
Thanks,
Chris

Hello Chris: This 1965 Chevelle on eBay displays exceptionally well. I would totally believe that it was a high quality professional frame-off restoration. I would also believe that a ton of money was spent on the restoration. To me, the big questions are:

What is it actually worth to you?
Do you plan on driving it or showing it?

Those are 2 good questions, I am aware of what a nut and bolt restoration costs, I am just not willing to pay that amount for the car. I would like to show it for a bit and then drive it......IF...I purchased it
